My Website
Building a professional website: profile, appearance, hours, online booking, publishing, and marketing.
Overview
My Website lets you build a professional website without any coding, all from within Mindora. Design, content, the online booking form, and blog posts are managed from a single panel; the site comes with color palettes, illustrations, and content structures crafted specifically for the therapy profession.
Typical use:
- A professional storefront where clients can find you and book a session.
- A content hub showing your bio, expertise areas, services, blog posts, and certificates.
- An integrated online booking form for direct bookings from the site.
- SEO and Google Analytics/Ads integrations to reach potential clients.
Online booking is optional; if you prefer, you can turn it off and use your site purely as a professional storefront; clients reach you via WhatsApp or email instead.
Your website has two sides:
- Visitor side: the professional website your clients see. Sections include: About Me, Expertise, Services, Blog, Certificates, Contact, Personal Note, Online Booking.
- Admin panel: where you set up and manage your site in 6 steps: Profile, Appearance, Working Hours, Booking, Publish, Marketing.
Changes made in the admin panel are reflected on the visitor side after saving. To access the admin panel: from the top menu, Tools → My Website.
The stepper bar in the My Website panel has 6 steps:
- 1. Profile: bio, expertise areas, certificates, languages, social media, personal note, SEO settings.
- 2. Appearance: color, theme, font, hero background, illustrations, card styles, and animations (75+ settings).
- 3. Working Hours: the days and time ranges available for online bookings.
- 4. Booking: online booking vs. contact-based booking, approval mode, buffer time, minimum notice, service selection.
- 5. Publish: subdomain (yourname.usemindora.com) selection and going live.
- 6. Marketing: Google Analytics + Google Ads integration and keyword suggestions.
You do not have to complete the steps in order; however, three requirements must be met to publish the site: a subdomain, a bio of at least 150 characters, and at least one active service.
Profile and Content
From Tools → My Website → Profile, you manage:
- Bio (About Me): a rich-text introduction (bold, italic, underline, lists). At least 150 characters are required to publish your site.
- Expertise areas: choose from 26 predefined options (Anxiety, Depression, Trauma & PTSD, CBT, EMDR, etc.) or add your own custom area.
- Certificates & Education: choose from 8 certificate types (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, Certificate Program, Advanced Training, Basic Training, Supervision, Specialization) and fill in Type, Title, Institution, Year for each record.
- Languages: pick from 13 language options (Turkish, English, German, French, etc.) for the languages you offer therapy in.
- Social media links: 6 platforms are supported — Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, and a personal website.
- Personal note: a warm message for clients. Only bold formatting is supported.
- SEO settings: three fields — Page Title (max 60 characters), Meta Description (max 160 characters), and Keywords. Control how your site appears in search engines and social media share cards.
Important: the Profile page has no auto-save; click the Save button after making your changes.
The Service Catalog is managed outside the My Website panel, at Settings → Services & Pricing. Each service has a name, duration, fee, calendar color, and illustration for the website.
There are two service types:
- System services: pre-configured; you can edit duration and fee, but not the name or color. They can be archived, just like custom services.
- Custom services: services you create; name, duration, fee, color, and illustration are all customizable (choose from 17 preset illustrations). Can be archived when no longer needed.
You then pick which services appear on your site under the Services section from the Available Services list on the My Website → Booking step. Publishing your site requires at least 1 active service.
The blog is managed in a separate page outside the My Website panel. There are two ways to reach it:
- The direct Tools → Blog shortcut in the top menu.
- Or the Manage Blog Posts button under Tools → My Website → Profile.
Each post can be in one of three states:
- Draft: visible only to you.
- Published: automatically appears in your website's Blog section.
- Archived: hidden from the site, not deleted.
You can mark up to 3 posts as featured. The blog strengthens your site's SEO and builds trust with potential clients by showing relevant content in your area of practice.
For detailed blog management (editor, cover image, SEO settings, social share preview), there is a dedicated category: Help Center → Blog Management.
Appearance Customization
The Tools → My Website → Appearance step is where you shape your site's visual identity. There are 75+ settings:
- Theme color and color palettes (11 base colors + 17 matte palette + 17 vivid palette)
- Font selection
- Layout variants
- Hero background: gradient or solid, 32 thematic backgrounds (wellness, therapy, modern, nature)
- Hero animation: 6 different hero background animation options (e.g., Gradient Blobs)
- About and booking section illustrations: 20 About-specific + 53 booking visuals (73 total)
- Avatar / profile photo styles
- Card styles and shadow options
All of these are no-code.
Important: the Appearance page has no auto-save. To make your changes persist, you must click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
This behavior is intentional: it lets you preview changes in the live panel first, and apply them only after you are happy with them. If you leave the page without saving, the changes are lost.
Working Hours and Booking
From Tools → My Website → Working Hours, define the days and time ranges you are available for online bookings. Each day has an on/off toggle; for active days, multiple time ranges are supported (e.g., Monday 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-18:00 for a lunch break split).
Defaults:
- Weekdays (Mon-Fri): active, 09:00-17:00
- Weekend (Sat-Sun): closed (Not available)
Important: this page has no auto-save; click the Save button after making changes. Your working hours only affect online booking availability; you can still create sessions manually outside these hours.
No, they won't conflict. This is one of the most critical features that sets Mindora apart from other website builders: site availability is bound to the same source as your live calendar; you don't maintain a separate "website availability" table.
The slots shown to a visitor on your site are calculated in real time based on your working hours, with the following subtracted:
- your existing confirmed and pending appointments,
- personal areas on your calendar (lunch break, supervision, "write report", or any time you block for yourself),
- if Google Calendar sync is active, your busy slots on Google,
- the buffer time, minimum notice, and maximum advance settings from your booking preferences.
Example: Say Monday 09:00-17:00 is open in your working hours. If your calendar has a "Supervision" personal area at 10:30, a confirmed appointment at 14:00, and a Google event at 16:00, none of these three slots are shown to site visitors. You don't need to manually mark your breaks; just add them as personal areas to your calendar, and the site respects them automatically.
On the Tools → My Website → Booking step, the main toggle switches between two modes:
- Online booking on: clients book directly from the site by picking date, time, and service; availability is pulled from your working hours, and confirmed bookings are added to your calendar.
- Online booking off: instead of a booking form, the site shows your contact details. You pick your preferred channel: WhatsApp, email, or both. Clients reach you directly; you set up the appointment manually.
Contact info is pulled from your profile automatically. Contact-based mode suits therapists who prefer a pre-screening conversation. Alternatively, you can keep online booking on and set the default Initial Consultation service in the Service Catalog to an affordable price; this way, clients can book the pre-screening directly from the site as a regular appointment.
Six preferences are available:
- Approval Mode: auto-approve or manual confirmation? In auto mode, the booking is final immediately; in manual mode, it is created as Pending and waits for you. Default: Auto.
- Accept New Clients: When on, people not registered in the system can book; a new client record is automatically created on the first booking. When off, only existing clients can book; matching is done by email or phone number. A visitor whose details don't match sees the message: "I am currently accepting appointments only from my existing clients. No record matching the email or phone number you entered was found. Please contact me to schedule an appointment."
- Buffer Time: the break required after one session before the next can start (0 minutes - 2 hours). Default: No buffer.
- Minimum Notice: how far in advance a client can book (0 hours - 1 week). Default: 24 hours.
- Maximum Advance: how far in the future a booking can be made (1 week - 3 months). Default: 1 month.
- Payment Required (Coming Soon): taking payment at booking time. This feature is under development.
Booking form fields: Name, Email, and Phone are always required and cannot be turned off. The Client Note field is optional and can be toggled on or off.
You then choose which services appear on your site from the Available Services list on the same page; preference changes only affect new bookings.
Publishing
On the Tools → My Website → Publish step, the right panel checks requirements in real time. To publish, all three requirements must be met:
- Subdomain (URL) configured: you must have set a slug.
- Bio is at least 150 characters: the About Me field on the Profile step must be filled in.
- At least 1 active service: the Service Catalog must contain an active service.
If any requirement is missing, the publish toggle is disabled. The links next to unmet requirements take you directly to the relevant page.
Your site URL has the format .usemindora.com (e.g., dr-ayse-yilmaz.usemindora.com). Slug rules:
- Lowercase letters only (a-z), digits (0-9), and hyphens (-)
- 3-50 characters long
- No spaces, uppercase, or special characters
After typing in the slug field, the Check Availability button tells you whether the slug is already taken by another user. You can also change your slug after publishing; however, the old URL will stop working and any links you have shared will need to be updated.
Marketing and Analytics
When you share your site link on WhatsApp, Facebook, or LinkedIn, the recipient sees a preview card. The top of the Marketing page shows how that card will look. The card pulls:
- Title: from the SEO Title field on the Profile step. If empty, your name is used.
- Description: from the SEO Description field on the Profile step. If empty, your About Me text is used.
- Image: your profile photo.
- URL: the site URL set on the Publish step.
Note: when you share a blog post, the post's own title, description, and cover image are used instead of the site's. Filling in the SEO fields on the Profile step is recommended for a more professional look.
Google Analytics is a free Google service that lets you track how many people visit your site, which pages they view, and where they come from. Setup takes four steps:
- 1. Create an account at analytics.google.com.
- 2. Create a new property and enter your site details.
- 3. Under Data Streams → Web, copy your G-XXXXXXXXXX Measurement ID.
- 4. Paste it into the Measurement ID field on My Website → Marketing in Mindora and save.
Mindora only adds the Measurement ID to your site; it does not store or process the data. Visitor data starts appearing in your Google Analytics dashboard within a few hours.
The Marketing step provides information and pointers for therapists who want to run Google Ads campaigns; it is not a direct integration. You will find:
- A 4-step overview for Google Ads (create account → link Analytics → set conversion goal → launch campaign) with links to Google's official guides.
- Therapy-specific keyword examples (e.g., "therapist [city]", "online therapy", "couples therapist [city]", "anxiety treatment", "child psychologist [city]").
- Useful links: Google Skillshop (free training), beginner's guide, Keyword Planner.
Ad management, conversion tracking setup, and reporting are all done in the Google Ads dashboard. Completing the Google Analytics setup first is recommended so you can measure your ads' effectiveness.
