Overview

The Service Catalog lets you define the services you offer to clients. Each service includes a name, duration, fee, calendar color, and illustration. When creating sessions, selecting a service automatically fills in the defaults. Your services also appear on your personal website for online booking.

Tip
Access the catalog from Settings → Services & Pricing.

Why Use a Service Catalog?

Speed

Auto-fill session details instead of typing every time.

Consistency

Ensure uniform pricing and duration across sessions.

Organization

Color-code different services on your calendar.

Flexibility

Override defaults for individual clients when needed.

Website

Services appear on your personal website with illustrations.

Understanding Service Types

Services have two types:

System Services

Pre-configured services that come with your account. You can edit their duration and fee, but not their name or color.

Custom Services

Services you create. Fully customizable - name, duration, fee, color, and illustration can all be changed. You can select from 17 preset illustrations to represent your service on the website.

System services have a fixed name and color, but like custom services you can archive the ones you no longer use.

Creating a New Service

To add a new service:

1

Click "Add New Service"

Click the button at the top right of the catalog.

2

Enter service name

Give your service a descriptive name (e.g., "Individual Therapy").

3

Set duration

Enter the standard session length in minutes.

4

Set fee

Enter the standard fee for this service.

5

Choose color

Select a calendar color to visually distinguish this service.

6

Choose illustration

Select an illustration from 17 presets to display on your website service card.

7

Click Save to add the service to your catalog.

Editing a Service

To modify an existing service:

1

Click "Edit"

Click the Edit button next to any service.

2

Make changes

Update name, duration, fee, color, or illustration as needed.

3

Save changes

Click Save to apply your changes.

Tip
Changes only affect future sessions. Existing sessions keep their original values.

Setting a Default Service

You can mark one service as your default. This service will be pre-selected when creating new sessions.

1

Click the menu icon

Click the three-dot menu next to the service.

2

Select "Set as Default"

The service will now be pre-selected for new sessions.

Tip
The default service is marked with a star icon.

Archiving Services

Services you no longer offer can be archived instead of deleted:

1

Click the menu icon

Click the three-dot menu next to the service.

2

Select "Archive"

The service moves to the Archived tab.

Archive Restrictions
The default service cannot be archived. Set another service as default first. At least one active service must always remain.

Restoring Archived Services

To restore an archived service:

1

Go to "Archived" tab

Switch to the Archived tab to see archived services.

2

Click "Activate"

The service returns to the Active tab and can be used again.

Tip
Archived services are preserved. You can restore them anytime.

Using Services When Creating Sessions

When you create a session, selecting a service automatically fills:

Duration

Standard session length

Fee

Standard fee for this service

Calendar Color

Flexible Pricing
The catalog provides defaults, but you can always override them. Set a fixed fee per client, or enter a custom fee for individual sessions.

Services on Your Website

Your active services are displayed on your personal website. Clients can see service names, durations, and illustrations when browsing your site or booking an appointment.

System services use their built-in illustrations automatically. For custom services, you can choose from 17 preset illustrations — if none is selected, a default icon is shown instead.

To customize how service cards look on your website (background color, color tone, illustration style), use the Appearance Customization settings:

Service colors are also used in the session calendar. You can customize the calendar color mode (by service or client) and style:

Best Practices

Create specific services

Instead of generic names, use specific ones like "Online Individual Therapy" or "In-Person Couples Therapy".

Use colors meaningfully

Assign distinct colors to quickly identify session types on your calendar.

Review pricing regularly

Update service fees when your rates change.

Archive unused services

Keep your catalog clean by archiving services you no longer offer.
