Date and Time Management
Understand Mindora's timezone management. See your calendar in local time when traveling, and let your clients see their own times.
How Does It Work?
In Mindora, all session dates are stored in UTC. They are displayed in your calendar according to the timezone set in your profile. This means:
- The actual session time never changes (fixed in UTC).
- You see it in your preferred timezone on the calendar.
- When traveling, change your timezone to see your local time.
Traveling to Another Country
When you travel to a different country, you can change your timezone in your profile to see the calendar in your local time.
Example Scenario
- You're in Istanbul, your timezone is Europe/Istanbul.
- You have a session at 14:00.
- You traveled to Chicago.
- You changed your timezone to America/Chicago in your profile.
- The same session now shows as 06:00 in your calendar.
Key Benefit
Wherever you are, you see the calendar in your local time. No need to wonder "What time is this session in my timezone?"
Changing Your Timezone
When you travel or permanently relocate:
Go to the Settings page.
Find the Timezone section.
Select the timezone of your current location.
Save.
Client Messages
When you send session reminders or payment links to your clients, dates and times are formatted according to the client's preferred timezone.
- Each client has their preferred timezone in their profile.
- Dates/times in messages are automatically shown in the client's timezone.
- You can also see the client's local time when sending messages.
A session at 14:00 (Istanbul) in your calendar will appear as "07:00" in the message to your client in New York.
