Burnout Prevention Reminder
How the burnout prevention reminder works when your weekly working hours exceed a threshold, hour calculation logic, and configuration options.
Overview
The burnout prevention reminder is triggered when your weekly working hours exceed the configured threshold. Unlike other reminders, it is not tied to a specific client — it evaluates your entire session load and serves as a personal reminder. It appears as a green card in the Follow-up tab on the Home page.
Why Does It Matter?
Therapist burnout is one of the most common risks for professionals working at a high session pace. Overwork negatively affects both the therapist’s well-being and the quality of therapy provided to clients.
This reminder alerts you when your weekly session load exceeds the limit you’ve set, helping you recognize burnout risk early. Its purpose is not to judge — it offers a gentle reminder to take care of yourself.
How It Works
During the daily scan, the system totals the durations of all your sessions in the current week.
Week start is determined
Monday at 00:00 in your timezone is taken as the week start.
Session durations are totaled
All session durations (in minutes) from Monday onwards are summed and converted to hours.
Threshold is checked
If the total weekly hours have reached or exceeded the configured threshold (default: 25 hours), the condition is met.
Reminder is created
If conditions are met and no burnout reminder has been created this week, a reminder card appears in the Follow-up tab.
Which Sessions Are Counted?
The system only counts completed sessions in the current week. All of the following conditions must be met:
